A rare gem of a collection!

So rarely I come across a selection of odd tales and finish with loving most of them. With the exception of perhaps 2 stories, I truly adored reading this collection. It’s also opened my eyes to new authors, one of which I spotted will soon release a new novella (which I’ve since pre-ordered). I will follow new books by Nepenthe Press with a keen eye!

      Became a lifetime fan

Incredible anthology! Folk horror is possibly my favorite sub-genre and this collection of stories did not disappoint. The stories matched the high quality of the physical book. Beautiful artwork sprinkled throughout made me an instant fan of Nephenthe Press. Will definitely be purchasing the anthology of witches that I believe promises to be another stellar production from Nephenthe Press.

      Beautiful book of Stories

I am so pleased I obtained this awesome book.

The stories contained and mostly brilliant a couple just very good, stories are subjective so what appeals to me may not to another.

The artwork was just incredible as to be expected from Eli.

I would urge anyone who hasn’t read this to do so and discover some new talent in the world of horror/folklore.
